About
The Medical Mercy Canada Distribution Center (DC) and main office is in Calgary, Alberta. It is volunteer based and operated. Due to the Covid pandemic limited volunteers have been involved in sorting and packing projects. We have still been able to do our yearly shipment to projects in Ukraine.
International
We do annual shipments to Ukraine but since the crisis there in February we have coordinated several shipments to Ukraine. We take medical donations throughout the year. We do not ship supplies to our Asia projects but support them financially. If we get donations that are not suitable for Ukraine these supplies are donated locally or given to other international projects. We do not ship by container but by boxes.
Local
MMC is committed to our mandate of helping marginalized populations who experience homelessness, health issues and disabilities We collect new medical supplies and ones that are sealed in packages like dressings and urology supplies that you may personally have. Any used medical equipment in good working condition and surgical instruments are appreciated. You can donate by contacting the office. We appreciate a list of your supplies with the approximate value for each.
