UKRAINIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY ONLINE FUNDRAISER

August 24th is a testament to Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and democracy and a day of pride in Ukraine’s strength and resilience. It is also a day of celebration of Ukrainian heritage and culture.

We stand for Ukrainians who fight for their independence and their country.

Kindly ask you to consider supporting Ukrainians and our projects in Ukraine.

HUMANITARIAN AID (ODESA, KHERSON, MYKOLAIV REGIONS)

Thousands of civilians in Ukraine are displaced, wounded or killed. Our on-site managers at great personal risk go into dangerous areas, close to the frontline to deliver much-needed supplies (water, food, medications) to the people in need in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions of Ukraine.

The approximate cost of 1 bag of food for a family of 2 or 3 people is $20 (Prices in Ukraine are so sensitive now).  The bag includes sunflower oil, sugar, canned meats, various cereals, and pasta.

SMALL, PORTABLE WOOD-BURNING STOVES

woodstoves

Winter is coming soon and protection from the winter weather is necessary for everyone’s survival in Ukraine.

With many buildings damaged by Russian bombing and shelling, safe and adequate shelter from the bombs in winter is difficult to find. Lack of electrical energy and natural gas because of shelling, makes it even more difficult to find warm shelters.

Small, portable wood-burning stoves are locally handmade for those desperate for some heat and cooking ability in their simple shelters.

With a donation of $120, you can provide a family with a lifesaving piece of equipment to get them through the cold of winter. Even in the warm spring and summer, the stoves will be used to prepare food.

SUPPORT THE VICTIMS OF THE MISSILE STRIKE ON OKHMATDYT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

On the morning of July 8, Russian missiles struck Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv – the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine, annually treating more than 20,000 children from all over the country.

The missiles completely destroyed the operating rooms, the entire toxicology wing, and life-saving equipment. Other buildings were also damaged.
